The school reopened for the new academic year on 15th June 2026, . The first day was marked by a warm and festive atmosphere, especially for the students of Class I.
The day began with a traditional welcome ceremony for the new students of Class I, which included performing Arti and pinning badges on each student. This gesture aimed to make the new students feel special and integrated into the school community. Additionally, Chikkis (sweet treats) were distributed to the students of Class I, adding a touch of sweetness to their first day.
Throughout the day, a variety of engaging activities were organized to help students acclimate to their new environment and enjoy their return to school. The activities were met with enthusiasm, and students participated actively, making the first day a memorable and positive experience for all.
A Parents' Orientation Meeting for the parents of Std. I to IV students was conducted on Friday, 12th June 2026 and Saturday, 20th June 2026. The meeting aimed to introduce the teaching staff and familiarize parents with the school's rules, regulations, and overall functioning.
The programme began with Headmistress Dr. Vaishali Kulkarni introducing the coordinators, class teachers, and subject teachers. She shared the school's annual theme, "Panchtatva: The Five Pillars of Life," and highlighted the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) along with various activities planned for the holistic development of students.
The class teachers briefed parents about textbooks, notebooks, the evaluation pattern, classroom expectations, and school discipline. Parents were also informed about the importance of regular attendance and cooperation in their child's learning journey.
The meeting concluded with the election of the Harmony Committee and Mata Palak Sangh, followed by an interactive session with parents.

International Yoga Day was celebrated on Monday ,22nd June 2026, with a focus on promoting the benefits of yoga and exercise. The day began with PE teachers demonstrating various yogasanas (yoga poses) for students of Classes I and IV. Following the demonstration, the young students eagerly participated in the session, learning and performing the asanas with enthusiasm.
The activities aimed to emphasize the importance of incorporating exercise into daily life and foster a healthy lifestyle among students. The event was well-received, with students showing great enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards adopting yoga practices.
Election and oath-taking ceremony was conducted on Wednesday, 24th June, 1st July respectively. The election for Head Prefect and Vice Prefect took place on 24th June. After a fair and transparent voting process, The Head Prefect and Vice Prefect were selected based on leadership qualities and student votes.
On Friday, 26th June, the selection of House Captains for all four houses was conducted. Students showed great interest and team spirit. The selected leaders were chosen for their discipline, dedication, and teamwork. Teachers and house in-charges guided and encouraged the students throughout the process, making it a learning experience for all.
Finally, the oath-taking ceremony was held on Wednesday, 1st July. The newly elected prefects, vice-prefect and captains took their oaths in the presence of the Headmistress dr.vaishali Kulkarni, coordinators and teachers. They promised to be responsible, honest, and helpful leaders. The Headmistress congratulated the new elected nmembers and encouraged them to lead by example.

Doctors' Day Celebration
Doctors' Day was celebrated on Wednesday, 1st July 2026, in the Primary Section with great enthusiasm. A distinguished doctor was invited as the guest speaker to mark the occasion. The program provided students with an opportunity to learn about the invaluable role of doctors in society and to express their gratitude for their dedicated service.
The main aim of the celebration was to create awareness among students about the importance of doctors and the significance of maintaining good health. During the interactive session, the doctor spoke about healthy eating habits, personal hygiene, and the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle. The students actively participated, asked interesting questions, and the doctor patiently answered all their queries, making the session engaging and informative.
The celebration concluded with students gaining valuable knowledge about health, hygiene, and the responsibilities of doctors. They developed a deeper respect and appreciation for the medical profession and were encouraged to adopt healthy habits in their daily lives. The program was meaningful, educational, and enjoyed by all.
A Sagar Mitra workshop was organized for the students of Grade IV on Wednesday, 8th July 2026. The aim of the workshop was to spread awareness about plastic pollution and the importance of reducing its use. The event was part of a year-long program to encourage students to adopt eco-friendly habits.
Mr. Vinod Bodhankar, the guest speaker, interacted with the students and explained the harmful effects of plastic on the environment. He spoke about the importance of recycling and reusing plastic items instead of throwing them away. Through engaging examples and real-life stories, he inspired students to take small steps towards a cleaner planet.
This workshop is part of an ongoing activity being conducted throughout the year to help students understand the importance of avoiding single-use plastic. It encourages them to take responsibility for the environment and contribute to a greener, healthier future. The session was both informative and inspiring.

Ashadi Ekadashi Celebration
Ashadi Ekadashi was celebrated with great devotion and joy on Friday, 24th July 2026. Students came dressed in beautiful traditional attire, bringing the spirit of the festival alive. A special Palkhi carrying the idols of Lord Vitthal and Rakhumai along with the holy Paduka was beautifully decorated. The puja was performed by Headmistress Dr. Vaishali Kulkarni, the coordinators, and the Head Prefects.
A vibrant Vruksh Dindi procession was carried out in the school premises with students singing bhajans, chanting the name of Lord Vitthal, performing Fugadi, and carrying Tulsi Vrindavans on their heads. The Standard IV students presented a meaningful Bharud on "Kachara Vyavasthapan" (Waste Management), highlighting the importance of keeping our surroundings clean and protecting nature. The Bharud beautifully symbolised the Earth (Prithvi) element, aligning with the school's annual theme, "Panchtatva – The Five Elements of Life."
The celebration helped students understand the cultural and spiritual significance of Ashadi Ekadashi while promoting devotion, environmental awareness, and respect for our rich traditions. It also inspired them to care for Mother Earth and practise responsible habits in their daily lives.

Art Workshop for Parents
An Art Workshop for Parents was conducted on Saturday 1st August 2026 with the aim of involving parents in the creative learning process of the students. The parents were briefed about the various art activities and hands-on experiences planned for the students during the academic year. The workshop also highlighted the importance of creativity, imagination and learning through meaningful activities.
As part of the Best Out of Waste initiative, the Art teachers introduced a creative and eco-friendly activity—Pillow Making Using Old T-Shirts. Parents were guided on how an old, unused T-shirt could be transformed into a useful and attractive pillow. The activity encouraged them to reuse household materials creatively instead of discarding them.
The workshop was an engaging and enriching experience for the parents. It demonstrated how simple waste materials can be turned into useful products through creativity and imagination. The activity also conveyed an important message about reduce, reuse and recycle, inspiring parents to support similar sustainable and creative practices at home and encourage their children to participate enthusiastically in the planned art activities.
A session on Healthy Habits was conducted to create awareness among students about the importance of maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle. The session was graced by Usha Salvi, Secretary, Junior Youth Red Cross Shruti Bhalerao, Assistant Professor of Physiotherapy, , and Bharati Kamble, who were the guest speakers. They shared valuable insights on various aspects of health and well-being.
The speakers guided the students about the importance of following a healthy and balanced diet, maintaining personal hygiene and including regular exercise in their daily routine. They explained how nutritious food, cleanliness and physical activity contribute to good health and help prevent illnesses. Simple and practical tips were shared to encourage students to develop healthy habits from an early age.
The session was highly interactive and engaging, with students actively participating and responding to questions. The guest speakers encouraged them to make healthy choices and follow good hygiene practices every day. The session was an informative and enriching experience that motivated students to take greater responsibility for their health and well-being.
