Fun fair and mis-match day
On 23rd December,2024 Monday, we have arranged a Fun fair and mis-match day for all the students of Commerce and Science stream. Students have participated enthusiastically in preparing and decorating various food and fun stalls. Students also enjoyed delicious food items and other fun activities. Mehendi and tattoo stalls were also there. Overall, it was really a very refreshing experience for all the students and students also learnt business skills through their stalls.
The Fun Fair at BSMHSS
The Fun Fair organized at BSMHSS on the 23rd and 24th of December was a delightful event that brought joy, enthusiasm, and creativity to the students of XI and XII Science and Commerce. The fair was an excellent platform for students to showcase their culinary, cultural, and artistic skills through various activities.
Day 1: 23rd December
The first day of the fair was buzzing with excitement, featuring vibrant food stalls set up by the students. The stalls offered a variety of delicacies such as pani puri, bhel, sandwiches, vada pav, and samosa chaat, attracting both students and teachers alike. The initiative allowed students to demonstrate their entrepreneurial and teamwork skills while offering a taste of their creativity.
To add to the fun, the day was themed with Mismatch Day, Twin Day, and Black and White Day, encouraging students to express their uniqueness and camaraderie. The themed dress-up activities brought laughter and cheer, showcasing the students' creativity in blending mismatched outfits or twinning with friends.
Day 2: 24th December
The second day of the fair was dedicated to tradition and talent. Students celebrated Traditional Day by donning elegant ethnic attire, reflecting the rich diversity of culture and heritage. The highlight of the day was a Fashion Show, where students walked the ramp with confidence, exhibiting their style and cultural pride.
Another engaging activity was Antakshari, a musical competition that witnessed enthusiastic participation. Students sang melodious songs, competing in a friendly atmosphere that resonated with joy and energy.
The two-day event provided a refreshing break from routine academics while encouraging students to explore their talents and bond with their peers. The cultural committee deserves applause for their efforts in making the event memorable.
Field Visit to Parag Foods Pvt. Ltd. - Gowardhan Go Cheese Manufacturing Plant
On 20th December, a field visit was conducted to the Parag Foods Pvt. Ltd. manufacturing plant, renowned for its dairy brand "Gowardhan Go Cheese" located at Manchar. The plant is known for its state-of-the-art technology and touchless processing methods. The visit aimed to understand the manufacturing process of various dairy products, including milk, cheese, paneer, curd, ghee, butter, and whey protein.
The plant operates under the esteemed milk brand "Pride of Cows," which emphasizes a completely touchless process for milk collection and handling. This ensures the highest standards of hygiene and quality from start to finish.
Milk is sourced from select farms and transported to the plant under controlled conditions to preserve its freshness.
The plant employs automated systems for testing milk quality, including checks for fat content, bacterial count, and adulterants.
Milk undergoes pasteurization and homogenization before further processing.
The plant specializes in the production of various types of cheese under the "Go Cheese" brand.
Milk is curdled using natural enzymes, and the curds are separated, molded, and aged under controlled conditions.
Products include mozzarella, cheddar, and processed cheese, catering to both domestic and international markets.
Technological Innovations
The plant utilizes advanced automation technology to ensure minimal human intervention, adhering to strict hygiene protocols. The "Pride of Cows" brand highlights the touchless process, which includes:

This visit was informative as well as enjoyable. The cheese tasting after the plant visit was enjoyed by students and a surprise gift by Gowardhan made their field trip a day to remember.
Guidance lecture for Preparation of Accountancy
Today 17/12/2024 Commerce Department has organized a special guidance lecture for Preparation of Accountancy Subject for upcoming board exams . The session was conducted by Mrs Preeti Shah. (SNDT College) an expert in the field with extensive teaching experience.
The lecture focused on important topics along with practical tips on time management, presentation, and avoiding common mistakes during exams. Students actively participated and clarified their doubts in an engaging Question &Answer session.
The session proved to be highly beneficial, boosting the confidence of students and equipping them with strategies to excel in their board exams. The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the guest speaker for their valuable insights.
Parents teachers meeting
Parents teachers meeting was conducted for XI commerce students. The main agenda for the meeting was terminal 1 result declaration and overall performance of the students.
Toppers of both the divisions were declared and congratulated. XI Class teachers addressed the meeting. The strengths and areas requiring improvement were discussed. Parents were also given feedback on individual students.
Poster making and Rally for Voting Awareness

A successful rally for voting awareness was organized on November 14, 2024, with the primary objective of promoting electoral awareness and encouraging citizens to participate in the electoral process.
For this rally students have also made posters containing slogans for electoral awareness.
One of the highlights of the event was the formation of a human chain, symbolizing unity and solidarity among participants.
Promote electoral awareness among citizens is very essential to have 100% voting in elections.To Encourage participation in the electoral process and to empower citizens to exercise their right to vote is also an essential objective behind this rally.
Students who are future voters enthusiastically participated in the rally and formed a human chain and appealed to voters to do voting.
Guidance Lecture for English Language Paper for HSC Students at MES Auditorium
On 30th September 2024, a guidance lecture was organized for HSC students on how to effectively study and solve the English language paper. The lecture was held at the MES Auditorium under the aegis of MESHSS, and the speaker for the event was Dr. Sampada Borgaokar, Assistant Professor, Department of English, Abasaheb Garware Junior College.
The session aimed to provide students with crucial tips and techniques to excel in their English exams, with a specific focus on the board exams for XI and XII. Dr. Borgaokar began the lecture by emphasizing the importance of studying effectively. She encouraged students to develop a structured approach to studying, incorporating time management, revision techniques, and practice writing. She also highlighted the significance of understanding the syllabus thoroughly and identifying key areas that frequently appear in exams.
Following this, Dr. Borgaokar shifted focus to how to solve the question paper efficiently. She walked students through the format of the XI and XII board exams, explaining the marks distribution and the ideal way to approach each section. She provided strategies for managing time while answering different types of questions, including objective, short answer, and essay questions. She also discussed the importance of legible handwriting and structuring answers clearly to make a good impression on the examiner.
A critical part of the lecture was dedicated to how to avoid common mistakes. Dr. Borgaokar stressed the importance of reading questions carefully to avoid misunderstanding the requirements. She also advised students on what to write and what not to write, suggesting they avoid irrelevant information and focus on directly answering the question to the point.
In conclusion, the lecture was highly informative and well-received by the students. Dr. Borgaokar’s practical tips and insights were designed to boost confidence and competence in tackling the English board exam. The session ended with a Q&A where students could clarify their doubts and seek personalized advice from the expert.
The guidance provided by Dr. Borgaokar will certainly benefit the students in their preparation for the forthcoming board examinations.
Career Guidance Lecture
Nowadays a horizon of opportunities and different careers is open for students, but very few choose to follow that path as we don't have much information about new opportunities. Hence to equip our students with added information about new career opportunities after HSC Science, we organised a career guidance lecture for our science students on 29th August 2024 at 1:00 pm in the MES Auditorium.
Dr. Satish Haldule was the speaker for this guidance lecture. He gave information about new career opportunities and universities and institutes where these courses are offered, entrance exam for the course and preparations required for the entrance exam.
This lecture was very informative and surely will help students manifold in choosing the right career path. This lecture will surely give them courage to take the road less traveled.
We at M.E.S. understand our responsibility towards the society and hence taking into consideration the need for the hour, we have arranged for an in person session with IPS Ranjan Kumar Sharma and his team. This session took place in Renuka Swaroop Girl’s School. It was streamed live in all the schools for other students as well. The session commenced at 2:00 pm. The session was aimed at guiding our girl students, how they can protect themselves in risky situations.
The session was very informative and was interesting as well. Videos were played for students to narrate the topic in detail. Children from Samarth Police Line displayed combat skills, which was really encouraging. Their coach underlined the importance of self defence training to girls. IPS Ranjan Kumar Sharma spoke in a very friendly way with all our girl students and explained them how to keep safe. Damini squad, Police Marshall, teachers and Police officers are all at a distance of a call in distressed time. But he also emphasised the need for girls to learn self defence techniques.
Overall this was an informative as well as encouraging session.
Orientation standard XI
On 13th August 2024 we, at MESHSS marked a new beginning by conducting the orientation meeting of students and parents in the MES Auditorium at 10 am. The orientation programme started with Saraswati Vandana with lamp lighting seeking blessings of goddess Saraswati on this auspicious occasion. Our principal Mrs. Aditi Kulkarni felicitated students with more than 95% in SSC exam. Then she presented all the HSC science team of teachers and support staff with a brief introduction. She briefly introduced the great legacy of this renowned institution. The coordinator of science stream Mrs Anuradha Kulkarni then explained all the rules and regulations of conduct in the college premises. Yearly planning of evaluation was explained to parents as well as students. Academic plan for the year 24-25 was explained to parents. Lastly the programme ended with the election of PTA members amongst the present parents. Then the orientation programme came to an end with Pasaydaan.
Overall the orientation programme was successful. All the parents were happy with the yearly academic activities as well as extracurricular activities conducted for the betterment of students.

Today XI commerce orientation was conducted successfully at the MES auditorium.
Respected principal of MES HSS Mrs. Aditi Kulkarni, Commerce stream Co-Ordinator Mrs. Sangeeta Joshi along with all the commerce faculty were present for the orientation.
The programme began with a serene Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of the goddess of knowledge. The lighting of the lamp was done by all the dignitaries along with S.S C toppers ,symbolizing the illumination of young minds.
Principal madam welcomed the students, parents emphasizing the significance of commerce education. She also gave brief information about the Maharashtra Education Society and introduced all the faculty members to the parents and students.
S.S.C toppers were felicitated by Principal madam. Commerce Department Co-Ordinator Sangeeta Joshi Madam presented a comprehensive overview of the importance of college and MES. Other faculty members presented curriculum, various activities and rules and regulations for the year. Programme was ended with the formal vote of thanks.
Parents teachers meeting for standard XII
On 10th August, Saturday, the first parents teachers meeting for the academic year 2024-25 was conducted for standard XII commerce students. Mentoring groups were formed and personal interaction was done by all the mentors with their mentoring group students and parents. Unit test 1 result and toppers were declared and felicitated. Important instructions were given to all the parents regarding discipline, attendance and overall HSC preparation.
Parent-Teacher Meeting August 2024
The Parent-Teacher Interaction (PTI) for Class XII Science was conducted on 10th August 2024 to discuss the Unit Test 1 (UT1) results. The meeting aimed to provide insights into the academic performance of the students and to discuss strategies for further improvement. In th meeting all subject teachers discussed areas of improvement with each student personally focusing on weak areas identified during the UT1 results.
Attendance is key to better results. doubt-clearing sessions arranged by teachers on Saturday to clarify concepts.
The meeting was productive, with valuable input from both teachers and parents. The next steps include implementing the action plan and ensuring consistent effort from students. The school appreciates the active involvement of parents in their ward's education.

The Mehendi and Tattoo Competition was a vibrant event, held on the occasion of Nag Panchami. Students showcased their artistic skills, applying intricate designs on hands and temporary tattoos.

'Krantideen'

On the occasion of 'Krantideen' a lecture was arranged on the life and Contributions of Aadya Krantiveer Vasudeo Balawant Phadke in indian freedom history. Mr. Mayur Bhave, a young writter,speaker and journalist was invited to render the lecture. The programme began with lighting of the lamp and by seeking the blessings of the goddess of knowledge and wisdom.
The lecture commenced with a warm welcome to Mr. Mayur Vaidya, who delivered an insightful talk on the life and contributions of Aadya Krantiveer Vasudeo Balawant Phadke. Mr. Vaidya highlighted Phadke's early life, his inspiration from the 1857 rebellion, and his transformation into a revolutionary leader.He also explained Phadke's role in organizing the Deccan peasants against British colonial rule,his establishment of the Ramoshi Brigade, a revolutionary force, his vision for India's freedom and social reforms.Vasudeo Balawant Phadke is one of the pioneers of our esteemed organization i.e Maharashtra Education Society and hence this lecture was of great importance.
The lecture successfully paid tribute to his contributions to India's freedom struggle, inspiring the audience to learn from his courage and dedication.
Mehendi Competition for Std. XII Science .
On 9th August 2024, a Mehendi competition was organized by the MESHSS cultural committee for the Std. XII Science students during the college hours. The event aimed to imbibe the importance of tradition among the students while underlining the essence of the holy month of Shravan, a time celebrated for its cultural significance and rituals in many parts of India.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who showcased their creativity and skill in applying intricate Mehendi designs. Traditional music played in the background added to the cultural ambiance, making the event both enjoyable and spiritually enriching.
The participants were judged on various criteria, including the intricacy of the design, creativity, and neatness. The judges, comprising senior faculty members, were impressed by the level of talent displayed by the students.
Overall, the Mehendi competition was a grand success, fostering a sense of cultural pride among the students while providing them with a creative outlet to express their artistic talents.
Lokamanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak death anniversary
1st August 2024,Thursday there was Lokamanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak death anniversary. On this occasion a programme was arranged for Std. XII commerce students, wherein a You Tube podcast was shown to students. The content for the podcast was 'What was given to India by Lokamanya.'It was a very interesting session for the students and they were engrossed in listening to some new though provoking facts about Lokmanya Tilak. Students also expressed their opinions after the session.
Rotary Interact Club Installation at MES Higher Secondary School followed by a

Installation of a new Rotary Interact Club at MES Higher Secondary School was done yesterday on 30th July 2024,Tuesday.
To promote community service, leadership, and international understanding among students the Interact club was installed.
The installation ceremony was a momentous occasion, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the school's community service journey. Chief guest Mukta Chaitanya, President of Rotary club of Gandhi bhavan Miss. Minal Dhotre, Secretary Mrs. Shashank Tilak and New generation Director Mrs. Triveni Bhadkas along with some members of the Rotary club were present. Principal Of MES School Mrs.Aditi kulakrani along with Co-ordinator of Commerce Mrs. Sangeeta Joshi were also present.The event began with the lighting of the lamp and by seeking the blessings of goddess Saraswati.
Principal Mrs. Aditi Kulkarni explained the concept and importance of the Rotary Interact club to all the students.
Then Chief Guest and Rotary guests pinned the Interact club badges to the Inducted students.
Paras Shingade was inducted as the President of the Rotary Interact Club.
Vaishnavi Kharat was inducted as the Secretary and 9 other students were inducted as members of the Interact Club.
The Rotary Interact Club installation at MES Higher Secondary School was a successful event, marking the beginning of a new era in community service and leadership development among students. The club aims to make a positive impact in the community, promoting the values of Rotary International.
This installation is followed by a guest lecture on Social media addiction. The lecture was rendered by famous reporter and social worker Mukta Chaitanya. In her lecture she has explained about the causes and bad effects of social media addiction and how to overcome it. It was very interesting and interactive session.
Maharashtra Education Society Felicitation Ceremony of S.S.C and H.S.C rankers.

To recognize and honor the academic achievements of students who have secured top ranks in S.S.C and H.S.C examination Maharashtra Education Society had arranged a felicitation ceremony in MES BSM auditorium. Respected MP Dr. Medha Kulkarni was the chief guest for the programme. President of MES Air Marshal (Rtr.) Bhushan Gokhale and Vice president Mr. Pradeep Naik was also present.
The Maharashtra Education Society Felicitation Ceremony of Rankers for all the schools and colleges of MES was a momentous occasion that brought together students, parents, teachers, and dignitaries to celebrate academic excellence. The ceremony began with Saraswati Pooja.
Students were felicitated for securing top ranks in their respective boards by Chief guest and president and vice president respectively.
Awards included cash prizes, trophies, and certificates of appreciation. Toppers in various subjects also got rewards.
The chief guest, congratulated the rankers and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence. She emphasized the significance of education in shaping the future of society and applauded the Maharashtra Education Society for their efforts in promoting academic excellence. Respected Chairman also addressed the students with his words of wisdom and experience.

Mrs. Manisha Hawaldar from Bharat English School, conducted a comprehensive guidance lecture on 18th July 2024 from 12:30 pm to 2:15 pm, for HSC board science students. This session took place in the MES Auditorium. The session focused on several key aspects to help students excel in physics HSC exam as well as other competitive exams. She also gave students detailed information regarding lot of things. Such as:
• Method of Studying and how to increase your score in exam in lesser time.
• Targeted Study Methods to remember derivations.
• Paper Pattern and Structure of written as well as practical exam.
• Tips for better understanding of a few difficult concepts.
• Tips about other competitive exams.

Rice Plantation Visit to Hadashi village.
Date: 16/07/2024, Tuesday
Standard 12th Commerce students and teachers took part in paddy sowing activity. In the farm of Hadashi village, where they received a warm welcome from the plantation owners and staff. The visit began with an introduction to the history and significance of rice cultivation in the region.
Students were then taken on a guided tour of the plantation, where they observed the various stages of rice production.
They took hands on experience of sowing the rice crops in the field. They understood the economic importance of rice cultivation and its contribution to the local economy- Students learned about the challenges faced by farmers, such as climate change and market fluctations.
After experiencing activities in the field students enjoyed a delicious lunch.
Students expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to visit the rice plantation, stating that it was an enriching and eye-opening experience. Students actually experience the hardships of farmers and felt the importance of farming.
The rice plantation visit was a valuable learning experience for the Standard 12th Commerce students and they enjoyed a lot.
Rice Plantation Activity with XII Science Students at Gulawalewadi.
13th July 2024
On 13th July 2024, the XII science students of MESHSS participated in a rice plantation activity at Gulawale Wadi. This hands-on experience was organized to provide students with practical knowledge of agricultural practices, emphasizing the importance of sustainable farming and environmental stewardship.
Students learnt the process and techniques involved in rice plantation. The activity was held to engage students in community activities and enhance their practical knowledge. Buses started from college at 9:20 am we reached at the rice plantation site at 11:am at 2:00 students had finished the work in paddy farm. Then everyone had lunch and safely reached college at 5:15 pm. Overall students enjoyed the activity as well as they understood the efforts which are required to grow crops.

Mrs. Kalpana Desai from MES Garware College, conducted a comprehensive guidance lecture on 11th July 2024 from 12:30 pm to 2:15 pm, for HSC board science students. This session took place in the MES Auditorium. The session focused on several key aspects to help students excel in Chemistry for HSC exam as well as other competitive exams. She also gave students detailed information regarding lot of things. Such as:
• Method of Studying and solving numerical in exam in lesser time.
• Targeted Study Methods to remember formulas.
• Paper Pattern and Structure of written as well as practical exam.

This session took place in the MES Auditorium. The session focused on several key aspects to help students excel in their German language exams. Such as:

• Tips for Attempting the New German HSC Paper

Interclass chess competition
Today on 04/07/2024, Thursday, Interclass chess competition was held at MES HSS for commerce stream students. Total 7 students took part in the said competition. The format of the competition was league- cum- knockout. 2 groups that is A and B were decided by the lottery method. The final match was played between group A and B finalists. Gayatri madam as a guest then did the final toss for the match. Shantanu paygude was declared as final winner and Tanmay Murkute was declared as runner for the competition. Students were very enthusiastic and enjoyed a lot.
Elections conducted in MESHSS for standard XII. The process was designed to encourage democratic participation and leadership among students. A total of 5 candidates contested for the LR and CR position from division A and 3 candidates for the LR and CR position from division B. The candidates were given a platform to present their manifestos and engage with the electorate through debates and speeches. Candidates campaigned utilizing posters, social media, and in-person engagement to present their visions and plans. Voting took place on 27th June 2024. Ballots were cast in a secret ballot system to ensure confidentiality and fairness. Votes were counted under the supervision of faculty members to ensure accuracy.

The election process was smooth and without incident. The school administration commended all candidates for their
enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The participation of students in these elections highlights the spirit of democracy and leadership at MESHSS.
On 25/06/2024,Tuesday we have conducted elections in the junior college commerce section for CR and LR. Many candidates have campaigned for Class representative and Ladies Representative post. A ballot method of voting was used and all the students were asked to put their vote by using ballot papers. Then students dropped papers in the ballot box.
Teachers did the counting and results were finalized.
Google volunteering programme

Rotary club Gandhi bhavan in conjunction with Google had arranged google volunteer meet for MES HSS students commerce and science stream.
In the first session google employees explained about the importance of Artificial Intelligence to the students. They also explained VR and its best use in today's technical and fast growing world. In the second session they explained about a very important topic i.e. cyber security. In this they focused on setting up a password, it's importance and care everyone should take while using technology. In today's era where we all are dealing with technology for various purposes regularly, everyone should be well aware about the care that we need to take while using the technology because it's a two edged sword. Overall it was a very informative session for students who are going to be frequent users of technology in their studies and career.
International Yoga Day Celebration at BSM HSS for XII (Science and commerce stream)
International Yoga Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at BSM HSS on June 21, 2024. The purpose of this event was to promote the physical and mental well-being of students and to highlight the importance of Yoga in daily life. The event commenced at 1:40 PM for science students and at 3.30 pm for commerce students, with warm up exercises. Following the warm up exercises, our Sports teacher Mr. Aakash Sawale led a comprehensive Yoga session. The demonstration included various Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing techniques), and Dhyana (meditation). Students were taught the following Asanas: Tadasana (Mountain Pose) Vrikshasana (Tree Pose) Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) Shavasana (Corpse Pose) The session was interactive, explaining the benefits and proper techniques of each Asana, ensuring that students could follow along and perform them correctly.
The International Yoga Day celebration at BSM HSS was a resounding success. The students of Class XII participated with zeal and left with a better understanding of the importance of Yoga. The event not only educated them about the physical benefits of Yoga but also put forth its significance in mental well-being and stress management. The positive response from students indicated a renewed interest in adopting Yoga as a part of their daily lives.
Orientation for XII Commerce
Today on 13th June 2024, Thursday, an orientation programme for XII students was conducted. In the beginning lighting of the lamp was done by Principal Aditi Kulkarni madam and co-ordinator Sangeeta Joshi madam along with last year toppers. Felicitation of last year toppers was done by principal madam.
Some alumni expressed their views and experiences about college. Principal madam introduced the faculty and guided students and parents about features and facilities available in the college. Commerce co-ordinator Mrs. Sangeeta Joshi explained rules and regulations.
Orientation for XII Science
13th June 2024
The meeting commenced with a formal inauguration on the backdrop of the new building construction and the addition of a new floor designed to accommodate larger laboratories and extra facilities for students.
A traditional lamp lighting ceremony was conducted, followed by the rendition of Saraswati Vandana to invoke blessings for the academic year.
Principal Mrs. Aditi Kulkarni delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the importance of hard work, dedication, and the new opportunities provided by the enhanced facilities. The principal felicitated the HSC rankers of the year 2023-2024, acknowledging their achievements and encouraging the new batch to aspire for similar success. Mrs. Anuradha Kulkarni presented a detailed academic year plan, outlining the curriculum, key dates, and important events. She also explained the rules and regulations that students need to follow, emphasizing discipline, attendance, and academic integrity. The program concluded with the rendition of Pasaydaan, a prayer for knowledge and wisdom, setting a positive tone for the upcoming academic year. The orientation was a significant event, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the Science XII students, enriched with new facilities and guided by a structured academic plan.
MES Higher Secondary School
Environment day 05th June,2024
On the occasion of world environment day a small activity was planned in MES BSM campus. As construction work is going on for the infrastructural development of the school, saplings were planted and watered on a smaller scale as a symbol. As there is currently no place to plant big trees because overall land planning is going on. Chairman of school committee Mr. Vijay bhalerao sir, visitor of the school Mr. Bharat Vhankate sir, principal of Pre-primary Mrs. Deshmukh, principal of primary Mrs. Durve and principal of secondary Mrs. Aditi Kulkarni and co-ordinators of commerce and science stream Mrs. Sangeeta Joshi and Mrs. Anuradha Kulkarni were present along with all the teachers and some students. Symbolic celebration was done with equally great enthusiasm.
MES Higher Secondary School

On the first day of college, school committee members have addressed all the teachers from secondary and higher secondary section ( commerce and science stream).
Chairman Mr. Vijay bhalerao sir and visitor of the school Mr. Bharat Vhankate sir addressed the gathering.
Guests were welcomed by principal Mrs. Aditi Kulkarni madam. New teachers were also felicitated by Mrs. Aditi Kulkarni madam. Principals of Primary and Pre-primary sections were also present.
In his speech, Bhalerao sir focused on the importance of planning and all the other managerial functions to be incorporated in school by teachers to achieve targeted goals.
Vhankate sir in his speech mentioned various new challenges which we are going to face in the near future and also emphasized on well prepared teaching and other activities requirements.
Both of them have encouraged all the teachers to be more planned,prepared and equipped with knowledge, skills and other aids.
It was really an inspiring start of the academic year 2024-2025.
CPR Demonstration And Deaddiction Counselling
Date 24th April 2024.
Two guest lectures were organised at MES HSS by Interact Club of Rotary, Pune. The events were coordinated by Mrs. Sangeeta Joshi madam, coordinator, Commerce Stream. The first lecture was a demonstration of CPR – a life saving activity in case of severe cardiac arrest. The demonstration was delivered by Mr. Girish Mathkar, President, Rotary Club. Some students as well as teachers volunteered for the demo.
The second guest lecture was by Niramaya Foundation. Mrs. Karkare, the founder member of the organisation visited MES HSS along with some recovering addicts. The session began with a short film based on addiction. Later the recovering patients shared their experience with the students in order to warn them against the repercussions of substance abuse.
