We celebrated Ashadhi Ekadashi at our BSM pre school. To make our children aware of valuable traditions and the greatness of our saints who gave the importance of social equality and tried to inculcate moral values and understand the importance of the varkari sampraday. Children came dressed as vithoba, Eknath Maharaj, and varkari. It was a beautiful colourful occasion !

Dental check-up Camp at BSM Pre-primary Section
As a part of International Doctor’s Day Celebration—a dental checkup camp was organised for 2 days in our school premises. To create awareness about Oral health and care, a team of doctors from Sinhagad Dental College conducted a dental checkup for JR and SR KG students on 18 th and 19 th July. Doctors also conducted a demo lesson with Teeth Model to explain in detail correct way of brushing the teeth. They also informed students about benefits of eating healthy food in friendly and interactive manner. This interactive session helped students to understand importance of dental health.

As every year, we celebrate Gurupournima in unique way for our Sr. KG. students. We celebrate this day as 'Matrudin' ( mother's Day) by felicitating their mothers as their first gurus.
This year also, this event was organised on 31st july, Wednesday. All mothers were invited in the auditorium with their children. Mothers were welcomed with haladikumkum and applying ittar. Kids offered champa flower to their mothers and took blessings. That was very emotional moment. Sr KG. teachers performed small skits depicting guru-shishya, mother-child relationship. In later part, a craft activity was conducted. This activity was done by mother and child together. After having snacks, program was concluded with music session. Everyone enjoyed this emotional event and made memories.

Girls dressed as Radha and boys as Krishna were the most beautiful sight of the day. The story of Krishna janma is narrated to give our children an idea and importance of the upcoming festival. Childern learn dahi handi songs from their music teachers a week before and this way BSM Pre primary gears up for krishna Janmashtami festival. A dahi handi is erected for our little ones on that day children dress up for the occasion. After an exciting colourful celebration children later enjoy the khirapat!
