The 11th edition of BSM Athletics meet was organised on 19th February 2026 at BSM grounds. 19th February is also celebrated as the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. His exemplary, valuable deeds and principles are revised and imbibed in everyone’s walk of life. Sports and patriotism are inseparable factors in nation’s growth.
Each year BSM and MES Kridavardhini host a spectacular athletics meet for the aspiring sports stars of 10 to 14 years.

BSM sports stars carried the torch in the ground signifying their commendable achievements. There after dignitaries offered floral tribute to the idol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. BSM choir sang the state song of Maharashtra ‘Jai Jai Maharashtra maza..’ and charged the environment.
Total 1175 athletes from school and sports club across the city had participated in the event.
Individual events like running race, long jump, spot jump, shot put were chalked out.
For the prize distribution ceremony Mr Jagannath Lakade, District Sports Officer of Pune with distinguished achievements in sports was invited, (the 21 times recipient of National sports award, Silver medalist in Asian games, served 15 years in defense and the winner of Shiv Chhatrapati sports award).
For team events Abhinav EMS( 74 points) stood first followed by MES Kridavardhini (59 points) and the third place was grabbed by Eklavya Athletics club(50 points).
Jaihind School of Pimpri got special prize for maximum entries.
At the end of the event BSM students presented a Powada. The meet was the confluence of camaraderie, commitment and collabarative team spirit.
