MES Higher Secondary School Commerce section arranged a farewell program to celebrate the two years of their college filled with many unforgettable memories and bid a cheerful goodbye with a best of luck note.
The program begun with a hall ticket distribution in their respective classes followed by an expert guidance for board exams by the respective subject teachers. Then the students proceeded towards tasting the delicious and exquisite lunch arranged in the courtyard and the program ended with a group photo with all the teachers.
77th republic day celebration
The 77th Republic Day was solemnly celebrated at MES Higher Secondary School with great patriotic fervour. The campus was tastefully decorated in the colours of the tricolour, symbolising unity and national pride.
The programme was graced by Wing Commander Vaishnavi Tokekar as the Chief Guest, along with Mr. Vijay Bhalerao, Chairman of the School Committee; Dr. Santosh Deshpande, Director of MES IMCC; Dr. Ravindra Vaidya, Principal of MES Senior College; and the principals of all three sections.
The Chief Guest unfurled the National Flag, followed by a salute and the National Anthem. Students presented a disciplined march past and cultural performances, including dance and dumbbell exercises. Excellence and Sports Awards were also announced to recognise students’ achievements. In her address, Wing Commander Tokekar inspired students to act responsibly and serve the nation with commitment. The celebration organised under the guidance of Mrs. Aditi Kulkarni, Principal of the Higher Secondary Section, concluded with the rendition of Vande Mataram.
special fun filled days before Christmas vacation- 2025-26
Before heading for Christmas vacation, MES Higher Secondary School, Commerce section had arranged special fun filled days to celebrate unforgettable college memories. The following days were based on the following themes:

🔹Saree/Dhoti day
All the days were celebrated with great pomp and enthusiasm as students of std XI and Std XII- commerce stream participated in various fun games and activities and enjoyed all the days to the fullest.
Students decorated the college premises creatively, dressed beautifully and participated in all the competitions with a lot of excitement and won various prizes..
A photography competition was arranged to encourage creativity and artistic expression among the students based on the theme of nature or temples. Students participated in the photography competition and showcased their talent. Winners of all the competitions/games were felicited on the last day. Students left for Christmas vacation feeling refreshed and excited
Alumni Get together-2025-2026
On the occasion of the celebration of 10 remarkable years of academic excellence, MES Higher Secondary School Commerce section organised an Alumni Get together
The program took place in the MES Auditorium and was graced by the presence of eminent dignitaries to mention Mr. Vijay Bhalerao sir, Chairman school committee EBSM and member of MES Governing body, Mr. Ajay Purohit sir, Member School committee and Mrs. Aditi Kulkarni ma'am, Principal- MES HSS, Mrs. Sangeeta Joshi, Coordinator- Commerce and Arts stream. The program began with lighting of lamp by all the dignitaries followed by address by Aditi Kulkarni ma'am, Vijay Bhalerao sir and Ajay Purohit sir and ganesh vandana. The dignitaries congratulated all the decoration team of std XI for such innovative decoration of the Alumni memories in form of back drop, photo booth, gratitude board, etc
The students of std XI showcased various dance performances to welcome the Alumni students with great enthusiasm and energy.
Thereafter the program was beautifully compared by one of our Alumni Ms. Falguni Pathak and various other alumni along with other teachers of commerce stream expressed their glimpses of memories on stage.
Towards the conclusion, a small video clip showcasing Alumni memories was shown
and the program concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Sangeeta Joshi, co-ordinator- Commerce and Arts stream. The Alumni enjoyed the program by expressing their gratitude towards teachers, walking through the classrooms and college areas reviving and reliving their memories and towards the end by tasting the delicious and exquisite lunch and receiving a small token of remembrance from the college.
Felicitation of our Alumini Pratik Sathe on his selection in the Indian team for Roll Ball world cup

The program begun with a lighting of lamp and was followed by the felicitation of Pratik Sathe and Manish Rathod our alumini of the college with a token of appreciation for their achievements in the field of Roll Ball sport by Principal Aditi Kulkarni madam and coordinator Sangeeta maam. Further in the program Sangeeta maam addressed and inspired the XI std students of Commerce and Arts stream who attended the session by sharing the dedication, hard work, achievements, memories of college days of Pratik and it was followed by an inspiring and thanks giving speech by Pratik and Manish. Principal madam also congratulations and encouraged Pratik and Manish with her words of wisdom.
It was indeed a proud moment for principal madam and all the teachers and it ended with a vote of thanks by Vaishali maam.
The Funfair organised by the students of std XI and XII Commerce students
"Funfair organised by the students is the means of showcasing and exhibiting the planning, organising and marketing the skills and talents of students by arranging various types of stalls."
On 16th October 2025, on the occasion of Diwali festival celebration, we organised a Funfair for our XI and XII Commerce students celebrating the spirit of cooperation and team work.
The funfair consisted of various food stalls like paani puri, bhel, mocktails, rumballs and samosa chaat, fun games, mehendi stall, selfie point all arranged and managed by the students supervised by the teachers.
The Students of XI and XII std participated in the funfair with great enthusiasm and energy.
The program was excellently arranged and managed by the students. Many students attended all the stalls in large numbers and thoroughly enjoyed them.
Bhondla and Garba celebration in MESHSS
Dance is the rhythm of culture made visible — it carries the memory of a people, their joys, their struggles, and their celebrations.”
Expression of gratitude towards the Godess Durga is done in many ways. At MESHSS, bhondla and garba were organized on 27th September 2025, Saturday for Science Students of XI and XII. The event saw enthusiastic participation by students. All were dressed in beautiful vibrant colours of Navratri, which made the celebration enjoyable.
Cultural program of XI and XII Commerce students

On 17th September 2025, on the event of teachers day and freshers party for XI students, we organised a cultural program for our XI and XII Commerce students celebrating the spirit of Incredible India
The cultural program took place at 1:00 pm in the MES Auditorium. The program was graced by the presence of eminent dignitories which include Mr.Vijay Bhalerao sir Chairman School Committee EBSM and Member, MES Governing Body, Mrs. Ananditai Patil - Vice - Chairman, MES Governing Body, Dr Neha Deshpande- Visitor of EBSM and Member, MES Life Member Board and Mrs. Aditi Kulkarni Principal of MES HSS. The program began with the lightening of the lamp by the dignitaries followed by few words of wisdom by Bhalerao sir.
The Students of std XI and std XII performed various dance and song performances on the theme of Incredible India showcasing the dance forms of various states of India. It was indeed a marvellous and talent-based presentation of student's art, skill, creativity, dedication, talent, enthusiasm and energy.
The program was beautifully crafted, well arranged and compared by the students. The students also displayed various decorative art forms prepared by them. It was indeed a graceful event which was thoroughly enjoyed to the great extent by all.
Orientation of XI science students

On 22nd August 2025, we conducted an orientation meeting for our XI science students along with their parents. Science stream orientation took place at 12:00pm in the MES Auditorium. Mrs. Aditi Kulkarni, Principal of MESHSS guided all the students and affirmed that path to success goes through hard work, honesty and diligent planning. Hence our Coordinators, for Science stream Mrs. Anuradha Kulkarni explained the overall academic plan to the students and parents so that they can plan their studies throughout the year. Paper pattern and Practicle submission schedules were also explained. Toppers of the X SSC BOARD Exam of 2024-25 were awarded to inspire and motivate the students. Rules and regulations to be observed in the college premises were revised for students. This meeting was an attempt to give students an insight into the academic year 2025-26.
Guidance and Career counselling- CA and CS course

The first session was conducted by CA Manish Rathod of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India(ICAI). He informed and guided the students of std XII commerce about the Chartered Accountancy(CA) entrance exam and its preparation. He also gave various live examples to the students about the eminent personalities who have successfully completed this course. It was indeed a very interactive session.
The second session was conducted by CS Bhoma Sutar of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). He showed various video clips of famous personalities like PM Narendra Modiji, Nirmala Sitharaman depicting the importance of CS in the good corporate Governance of Companies. He also explained the process of CS course and the details of its examinations. It was indeed an informative session. Students attended the session in large numbers
Guest lectures- Traffic awareness session and De- addiction counselling session
Day: Tuesday
Date: 12/08/2025
The first session was conducted by Ladies Police constable Shobha Desai madam. She explained the traffic rules and regulations and also warned the students against the serious repercussions that they will have to face for not complying with the rules relating to signals, helmet, trespassing in no entry areas and wandering outside the college premises during the college hours. The session concluded with a vote of thanks.
The second session was conducted by Niraamay Foundation on De- Addiction counselling. Mr. Nikhil Tamhankar and Mr. Mayur Deshmukh sir imparted effective and useful information and their personal experiences to our students relating to de- addiction. It was indeed an eye opener and value enriching session which will definitely benefit the students in the long run. Students attended the sessions in large numbers. The session ended with a formal vote of thanks.
Sarpmitra lecture on the occasion of Nagpanchami
On the occasion of Nagpanchami, an informative session on the importance of snake conservation and their role in the food chain was organized in the MES Auditorium at 1:30 PM on 29th July 2025. The session was specially arranged for the XII standard students of Science and Commerce faculty to raise awareness about snakes and their ecological significance.
The session was conducted by representatives from the Wild Animals and Snakes Protection Society, including:
1. Shekhar Maharaj Jambhulkar
2. Harshal Kalvit
3. Tushar Pawar
4. Ganesh Bhutkar
These experts enlightened the students about the critical role snakes play in maintaining ecological balance, especially in controlling rodent populations and contributing to the stability of the food chain. They also discussed the myths and misconceptions surrounding snakes and emphasized the need for their protection and conservation.
The session was interactive and educational, sparking curiosity and concern among students about wildlife conservation. It concluded with a Q&A round.
This initiative proved to be a valuable learning experience, fostering respect for biodiversity and encouraging students to become responsible stewards of nature.
Tree Plantation Activity
A tree plantation drive was jointly organized on 12th July 2025 by Warje Nisarg Mitra Foundation, Rotary Club of Pune Warje, and MES Higher Secondary School. The activity took place from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and saw active participation from the Science stream students and teachers of MES HSS.
The event aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainability among students. Several saplings of native tree species were planted in the surrounding area under the guidance of environmental experts and volunteers from the organizing foundations.
The students enthusiastically took part in the activity, learning about the importance of trees in preserving ecological balance. The event concluded with a short address by the representatives of the participating organizations, encouraging the youth to take initiative in protecting nature.
Overall, it was a meaningful and inspiring activity that instilled a sense of responsibility towards the environment among the students.
Rice Plantation Activity
On 12th July 2025, the students of Class XII Science participated in a rice plantation activity as part of their experiential learning and environmental awareness program.
The students departed from the college at 8:00 a.m. and reached the farm at 11:30 a.m. Upon arrival, they were welcomed by the local farmers who guided them through the traditional method of rice plantation. The plantation activity commenced promptly and continued till 2:30 p.m. with active and enthusiastic participation from all students.
After the plantation, the students enjoyed lunch. The day concluded with the return journey, and the group reached back to the college by 5:30 p.m.
The activity was not only educational but also helped students connect with rural life and appreciate the hard work of farmers. It was a memorable and enriching experience for all.
Special Guidance lecture on cyber security and AI

A special guidance lecture on Cyber Security and AI was organised by Rotary Club of Gandhi bhavan alongwith Google team.. The session began with a welcome of President of Rotary club and Google team by commerce cordinator, Mrs. Sangeeta Joshi maam.
It was a very informative and an interesting session as the google team members informed and updated the students cyber security measures and safety precautions which should be followed in respect of online protection of information, browsing the web, password protection, privacy settings, digital payments, and most importantly knowledge of use of Artificial intelligence (AI) in the most appropriate manner.
Students of Std XII attended in large numbers and participated in the discussion with curiosity and great interest.
Students participated in the session with a greater enthusiasm and curiosity.
Yoga day celebration
Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self — a path to harmony in body, mind, and spirit."
We have celebrated International Yoga day with our science and commerce Students to imbibe the importance of physical exercise in their minds.
Our students have participated very enthusiastically and it was a very cheerful event.

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) election for the academic year 2025–26 was conducted on 18th June 2025 during the orientation meeting for Class XII students and their parents. The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents, highlighting their interest in contributing to the academic and developmental activities of the institution.

On 18th June 2025 we have arranged a career guidance lecture for XII science and commerce Students. For science The timing was 12:30 to 2:30 and for commerce 2:30 to 3:30 pm. The lecture was conducted by Mrs. Rohini Ranade, who has an experience of 27 years in guiding students towards bright future.
Our students were very inquisitive and asked many helpful questions. We hope our students will be benefited from this lecture.

We at MESHSS marked the beginning of new academic year on 5th June 25, Thursday with motivation and inspiration by our esteemed mentors
Mr. Bhalerao, Mrs. Deshpande and our principal ma'am Mrs. Aditi Kulkarni. They gave us an insight into the goal and guidelines for the new academic year.
This day is also celebrated as world environment day so we planted new saplings in the MES premises like every year.
We aim to reach new heights and continue striving for excellence.
