Sweet sixteen …….. enthusiasm in a teen age…..

It was the rejuvenating morning of 16 th December for young toddlers of V and VI as it was their first day of the offline school for the academic year 2021-22. The mother teachers and subject teachers were eagerly waiting to welcome the young toddlers from primary section to the secondary section. It was an exciting moment for young graduate after graduating from primary section and moving to the second floor of the secondary section.
A tour was arranged for our young primary graduates to get rendezvous with different laboratories like science lab, maths lab, ATL, geography lab, computer lab, library, music and art room and….. of course the wash room.??
The new batch of Std. V and VI were given a warm welcome by showering colorful balloons and dancing to melodious tunes that made the atmosphere full of life and energy.
We believed in activity based teaching and learning process. Different games and activities were planned to keep students engaged and alert. Individual activities of book balancing, lemon and spoon along with team events like langadi were planned keeping in mind the motor development, congnitive development and development of kinesthetic sence in children. In the process they learnt about team spirit and importance of ‘ WE instead of I’.
The day was celebrated by following all the precautionary norms suggested by the government.
