Musical Treat to Gracious Gurus
Guru Pournima, a spiritually significant festival was fervently celebrated in MES Bal Shikshan Mandir English Medium School on Saturday 4th July 2020 in an online session.
Ashadh Pournima is also known as Guru Pournima as it marks the birthday of Ved Vyas. It is a tradition dedicated to spiritual and academic Guru when disciples Express their gratitude and revere their teacher. BSM has always been keen to bring out the best in children.
Abhang Singing Competition was a musical treat for all on this occasion. 40 students had enthusiastically presented bhajan on this day. The participants were given a class wise theme of compositions of Lord Ram (for Std. VIII) Lord Krishna (for Std. IX) and Saint Mira (for Std. X). Their parents too accompanied them by playing instruments like synthesizer and tabla.
Mrs. Deeplakshmi Ranade, Mrs. Ashwini Saraf and Mrs. Shweta Kulkarni were the honorable judges for the melodious event. The following results were declared immediately after the contest was over.
