MES Kridavardhini and Bal Shikshan Mandir EMS have organized a two day sports-meet on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. This is the eighth year of the ceremony. The ceremony was inaugurated by the President of Maharashtra Education Society Air Marshal Bhushan Gokhale (Retd.). The following members of the Governing body of MES graced the occasion to boost the morale of the participants.

Among the dignitaries were Architect Rajeev Sahasrabuddhe, Chairman, Mahashtra Education Society, Shri Vijay Bhalerao, Chairman, Kridavardhini, Shri Anand Kulkarni, Chairman, School Committee, Dr. Bharat Vhankate, Secretary, Maharashtra Education Society and Visitor, School Committee, Shri Shailesh Apte, Coordinator, Kridavardhini, Dr. Manasi Bhate, Asst. Director IMCC and Life Member of Governing Body, Maharashtra Education Society, Shri Sudhir Bhosale, Visitor, Kridavardhini, Mrs. Manjusha Durve, Headmistress, Primary Section, and Mrs. Sayali Deshmukh, Headmistress, Pre-primary Section of BSM.

This event has been organized to remember the invictus deeds of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and also to encourage sportsmanship among the students.

1200 students from the schools in the city participated in events like Long Jump, Relay, and 50 m run on the first day of the meet. An overwhelming response from the participants shows that they all enjoyed the events with great enthusiasm.
